Join national HIV call-in day on 3/21 to stop repeal of health care

CBOJoin HIV PJA, PWN-USA, the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, HIV Health Care Access Working Group, AIDS United, NASTAD, HIVMA, the AIDS Institute, the Treatment Access Expansion Project, and others for an HIV community-wide congressional call-in day Tuesday, March 21 against the Republican’s health care repeal bill.

People living with and vulnerable to HIV across the country will lose essential care if the Republican plan is approved. According to the Congressional Budget Office’s analysis, the GOP plan (the American Health Care Act) will:

  • Take health care coverage from 24 million Americans;
  • Increase out-of-pocket health care costs (particularly for older adults); and
  • Destroy Medicaid by cutting $880 billion from the program.

This plan is simply unacceptable and will result in making America sick again.

Can we count on you and/or your organization to help send the loud and clear message to Congress that their proposal to kick 24 million people off of insurance and gut Medicaid is unacceptable? Sign up to be a part of this national day of action for health care. We need the voices and actions of the entire HIV community to protect our care.
