Che Gossett

Che Gossett is a black genderqueer and femme fabulous activist and writer.  They are a contributor to Captive Genders: Trans Embodiment and the Prison Industrial Complex (AK Press, 2011) and A New Queer Agenda (Scholar and Feminist Online, 2012) and The Trans Studies Reader Volume II (Routledge 2013).

They directed a short film on AIDS activist Kiyoshi Kuromiya that screened at the Pop Up Museum of Queer History in Philadelphia and the Institute for Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania in 2012. Additionally, Gossett was selected as a Lambda Literary Writer Retreat Fellow and is currently working on a biography of Kiyoshi Kuromiya.
